Jason Castro Has Tough Night On American Idol

“American Idol” is not the easiest show in the world for many performers, and Jason Castro proved to be no exception last night as he got lambasted by Simon Cowell for a poor performance.

Castro tried a rendition of “I Shot The Sheriff”, popularized by Bob Marley and the Wailers, but didn’t pull it off.

“It’s a song by Bob Marley — go figure,” said Castro after the ill fated performance.

Simon Cowell even warned poor Jason before the lambaste.

“Jason, stand back,” Simon said. “That was utterly atrocious. That is a song you do not touch. The arrangement was atrocious, the performing and the singing was as bad as I ever heard. That was like a first round audition massacre. I don’t know what you were thinking.”
